The Mexican Chamber of Commerce has unilaterally announced the suspension of ATA carnet operations in Mexico as of 2 March 2026.
Foreign ATA carnets are no longer accepted in Mexico. The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is currently looking into the matter. It is not yet known whether the suspension is temporary or permanent. Finnish Chambers of Commerce will not issue ATA carnets for Mexico during the suspension period.
