What is an ATA Carnet?
Take your company’s goods abroad temporarily without customs duties or taxes in over 80 countries with a single document.
The ATA Carnet is an international customs document issued by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) that allows temporary export of goods without paying customs duties or taxes to multiple countries for up to one year. The ATA Carnet acts as a passport for your goods for e.g. trade fairs, exhibitions, and sporting events. An ATA Carnet allows up to eight round trips during a year of validity. It can also be used for transit journeys.
The ATA Carnet is issued for:

- Exhibition goods
- Professional equipment
Examples include computers, tools, filming equipment, musical instruments, machinery, jewelry, clothing, medical devices, and artworks.
