The undersigned undertakes, when using the ATA Carnet covering the goods listed in this application, to comply with the provisions of the Customs Convention on the ATA Carnet for the Temporary Admission of Goods and the instructions issued by the Finland Chamber of Commerce. The undersigned also undertakes to return the Carnet to the Chamber of Commerce that issued it no later than upon the expiry of its period of validity.
The undersigned undertakes to reimburse the Finland Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce that issued the Carnet for all expenses and costs incurred by them in cases where the customs authorities of Finland or any other country do not accept the ATA Carnet or the duty-free temporary importation of the goods covered by it. No claims may be made against the issuing Chamber of Commerce in cases where the customs authorities of any country consider the goods listed in the Carnet to be of such a nature that they cannot be imported under a Carnet. The undersigned may not claim that the customs authorities have required excessively high customs duties or other import charges, or that such charges are unfounded.
The undersigned undertakes to reimburse all costs incurred by the Finland Chamber of Commerce under the guarantee it has provided to customs authorities or guaranteeing associations of various countries as part of the Carnet system. Upon collecting the Carnet, the undersigned undertakes to pay the Chamber of Commerce a deposit/guarantee amount, which will be refunded when the Carnet is returned to the Chamber of Commerce after proper use. Any disputes arising from this undertaking shall be settled by the District Court of Helsinki.
